Editing the homepage

To edit the text on the homepage follow these instructions:

  1. Log into your TorneoPal admin account.
  2. Left menu: Tournament
  3. Top menu: General Info
  4. Scroll down to the Home page text box and add or edit the content there. 
  5. If your site is multi-language you'll need to repeat this process in the other Home page text boxes
    1. In this example, English and Finnish are available for the result site user.



  6. Scroll down to save.
  7. OPTIONAL:
    1. We recommend familiarizing yourself with the text editor implemented on the homepage's text field (the same editor is used on rules, info, and news). There's a huge difference between simply typing in text and being able to use headers, formatting, links, pictures, and tables appropriately.

If you wish to use the home page as a single-page app(feed of results), that is entirely possible. In such cases, we recommend adding all instructions, greetings, and other relevant information to the info section, ensuring the home page remains as minimalistic as possible. This approach creates an easily scrollable page on mobile devices. Here is a link with instructions on how to select the items displayed on the home page.
