Closing registrations for categories

If you want to close registrations for certain events while leaving others open, you can follow these instructions:

1. Go to the left menu and select Tournament.
2. Click on the top menu and choose Registrations.
3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
4. You will see a list of categories with the registration statuses. By default, they are all set to Open.
5. Change the status of the category you wish to close to Closed.

Normally, tournaments aim to close registrations for a category when they reach full capacity. This can be automated by selecting the maximum number of teams that can register. Here's more information on that.

With this setup, teams can still register for the waiting list. If the waiting list has many teams, the option to close registrations is beneficial.
