Emailing teams

If you have used the registration or imported teams with email addresses, the system can be utilized to send a mass email informing the teams about any relevant updates or their team codes.

Here's how to use the system to send an email:

1. Select Teams from the menu on the left side of the screen.
2. Select Message from the menu at the top.
3. Select Method (the email address where you would like to receive possible replies):
   1. The first one is the user's email address, and the second one is the tournament's email address (which can be found in the general info-view).

   2. 

4. Type in the subject.
5. Always select 'Send a copy to myself.' This way, you'll immediately notice if something goes wrong or if you'd like to resend the email at some point. Emails sent will not be stored in the system.
6. Type in the email.
   1. If you'd like to send team codes, use [teamcode] in your email.
7. There are a bunch of different filtering options.

8. The easiest way to select all team managers/contact persons is as follows:
   1. Status='ilmoittautunut' (teams that have registered, we're looking to add translations)

   2. Contact details= "Only team contact person".

9. After selecting all the necessary contact details (which can be chosen from the list as well), click on 'Send'.
10. After sending the email, the system will display a confirmation message:
