Importing matches

If you are a new league customer and you would like to import your existing match fixtures or schedule into TorneoPal, we can do this if you send us the data in the correct Excel format.

The Excel sheet must follow the example below:

Here's the complete list of the data that could be imported into the system. Please note that if you'd like to import other data than the example above, the Excel sheet must have the columns following the listed order:

• Category code (e.g. PREM)
• Group (number, e.g., 1, A=1, B=2, C=3)
• Match number (e.g., 101)
• Date (format: 30.01.2019) (Pitch code and pitch name must be imported as well)
• Time (24h format, e.g., 20:00) (Pitch code and pitch name must be imported as well)
• Home team name
• Away team name
• Pitch code (e.g., P1)
• Pitch name (e.g., Pitch 1)
• Round number
• Referee name
• Assistant 1 name
• Assistant 2 name
• 4th Official name
• Home team goals (if you want to add a result of matches already played)
• Away team goals (if you want to add a result of matches already played)

The required fields are marked in bold.

When importing the times of the matches, both pitches and pitch codes must be used. It is also recommended to use numbers instead of letters for groups: A -> 1, B -> 2, C -> 3.
