Editing text for registrations

When enabling online registrations for your tournament for the first time, the standard sign-up form is created with some basic text, which you can edit from the left menu Tournament, then the top menu Registrations. Here you'll find some information to help you set up the registrations just as you need them.

Registration Intro text

This text appears above the form. Here you can add information about the registrations. This field is good for clarifying, for example, different roles (head coach, coordinator, etc.). The standard text is:

Registrations are now open.

Registration Instructions

Will be shown in the middle of the page and often explain prices. "Intro text" and "Instructions" can both be used for instructing the site user.

Thank You Note When Registering

This is the text that appears on the site after the user successfully enters their details.

Thank you for registering!

An email confirming your registration has been sent to [email]

Please check your spam folder if you haven't received the email after 5 minutes.

If you didn't get the email please contact [competitionemail]

You can use your team code to update your information and add player names at this same site - https://[url]

Payment can be made by bank transfer.

Our bank account details can be found at the bottom section of the invoice you will receive by email.

You will find the reference code in the top section of the invoice.

Registration email

This is the text that the system uses as a template for the email that is sent to the team.

You can use your team code to update your information and add player names by clicking on Login and then the My Team page at https://[url]

Payment can be made by bank transfer.

Our account details can be found at the bottom section of the invoice.

You will find the reference code in the top section of the invoice.

Please note that the invoice can be attached to the "registration email" (PDF file) instead of sending a link to the invoice. In these cases, please contact info@torneopal.com.


Email if the category is full

You can still accept registrations even if the category is full. The teams will be added to the waiting list and receive this email.

The category is now full but we will inform you if we can arrange a place for you or if there are any cancellations.

If you are accepted into the tournament you will need an invoice and this can already be found at the following link:

Reminder email

If the team has registered but not yet paid, you can chase them for payment directly from the system. Here's the default text.

Your team, [team] has registered to the [category] category, however we have yet to receive payment.

This section can also be used if your tournament takes applications that need to be confirmed by you. You can change the text to this if you want to send those confirmations. Remember to disable the "send invoice" option if you don't want them to receive an invoice.

After logging in you will see a menu item named My Team - in here you can add the player details.

Extra questions

This section is used if you would like to collect some extra information from teams participating. If there is no need, it can be left blank. Teams' answers can be found on each team's "Team info" page. Click here for more information about the use of the "Extra questions" field.
