Copying a category:

It's possible to copy category setups (i.e. the groups and cups).

If you have categories with the same number of teams and structure, you can save time by copying the first one.

Here are the steps:

1. Left menu: Tournament
2. Top menu: Categories
3. Click on the category you would like to use as the template, for example, U10.
4. On the General info tab, click the Copy Category button

5. Choose the category you want to copy to, or choose to create a new category

   2. Please note, if you're creating a new category and accidentally use a category code that is already in use, the category will be overwritten. In these cases, please contact info@torneopal.com
6. Click "Create copy"

The category you have just copied to will now open.

Copying a group

If you would like to copy just a single group, you can do so from the Groups tab (see screenshot below).

Here are the steps:

1. Left menu: Tournament
2. Top menu: Categories
3. Click on the category you would like to use as the template, for example, U10.
4. Proceed to Groups.
5. Once the desired group is selected/active, click the Copy Category button.

6. Choose the category to which you want the group to be copied.

7. Click "Create copy"
8. Please note that the group will be named "Group (number of groups + 1)", so make sure to rename it accordingly.
