Before forfeiting a team, you must thoroughly go through your rules to fully understand how to apply them to the system.

If you have several days before your kickoff and your rules permit:
Remove the team from the group and their matches. This will make the group one team smaller. You can also adjust the schedule if you prefer. This is a good option if it's a large odd-numbered group, such as 7 or 9 teams.
If possible, we recommend staying away from the schedule once you have finalized it. Too many times, organizers try to tighten their schedules at the last minute when a team doesn't show up. Rushing things often leads to errors and the need for multiple adjustments. Once you have finalized the schedule, stick to it, and avoid over complicating your tournament planning.
