Changing the time slots of matches
If you decide that you'd like to increase or decrease the match times, it's easy to change. Follow these instructions:
- Left menu: Tournament
- Top menu: Categories
- Click into the category you have already set up, eg. U10
- Click the Group settings tab
- In the column named Time slot per match you can enter the new total time to be allocated to each match.
- You might need to have an extra couple of minutes for Stage 2 games because of the possibility of penalties.
- Click Save.
If you have already made the schedule, you will need to go into the Organise Fixtures (Left menu Tournament, top menu Organise fixtures) page to put the new start time of the matches.
How to reschedule if timeslots are updated with a new value
- Select the first or last match depending on whether you'll need to push back the matches or start them earlier
-
In this case the first match is selected. Note the starting times
-
- Press arrow up/down on your keyboard (this pushes back/up all the matches by 5minutes and if the timeslot is updated the new value is applied).
-
In this case, 10 minutes were used as the time slot. - Now, all the matches have been pushed back by 5 minutes, and the starting times have been updated according to the new time slot (the matches form a 'queue')..
-
- Select the last match and press arrow up to move the first match back to 10.00.
-
Now the first match is starting at 10:00, and each match has a time slot of 10 minute
- If something goes wrong, just refresh the page instead of saving.
