Step by step guide for using the referee feature
The person in charge of managing referees can provide you with the same login details you already have. If you'd like to reduce the risk of human error, another admin account can be created solely for managing the referees. In case of a major event (e.g., a group being deleted), the restoration process is easier when there is no possibility of two users operating the account simultaneously.
Here's a short tutorial on managing referees:
- Request to have the referee list set up for you.
- Please note that the referee list is specific to each competition, so a new list should be created each year. (We can transfer/copy recurring referees if needed)
- If you have, for example, a referee coordinator, we can create an account for them and restrict their access just to the referee feature, if you'd like to limit the possibilities of a user error.
- Changing the number of referees / officials per match
- Importing referees or Adding referees to the system one by one
- For referee registrations, refer to this guide (teams and referees registration process is quite similar) and reach out to us. (Some features are hidden by default)
- You can view the referee registration form from this link.
- Adding referees to matches
- Informing referees about their matches
- Printing the referee's mini match cards
TorneoPal first started as a referee management system, and the system is fully prepared to function as an association-level referee management tool. For example, the payment of referees' fees and mileage allowances are already in place.
